Using AI to Build Website Pages

1. What AI Is Good For

  • First drafts: area pages, buyer and seller guides, FAQs, and landing page copy.
  • Outlines: turning a rough idea into headings and sections.
  • SEO basics: page titles, meta descriptions, and slug ideas.
  • Rewrites: making copy shorter, clearer, or more on-brand.
  • Formatting: converting text into clean HTML for the content editor.

AI does not replace your local knowledge. You are the expert; AI is the fast first draft.

Include: overview, lifestyle and amenities, housing styles and typical price ranges (I will verify), commute info, and a short FAQ. Friendly, professional tone. Use H2 headings. SEO details

For a page about [topic] in [area], suggest: a page title under 60 characters, a meta description under 155 characters, and a short URL slug.

Turn text into HTML

Convert this into clean, simple HTML using only h2, h3, p, ul, li, and strong tags. No scripts or styling: [paste text]

Make it sound like us

Rewrite this to sound like a local agent talking to a neighbor: warm, direct, no jargon. Keep all facts the same: [paste text]

4. Rules Before You Publish

  • Fair Housing: never describe areas or buyers by race, religion, familial status, disability, or other protected classes. Avoid steering words like "safe," "family-friendly," or "exclusive." Describe amenities and features instead.
  • Fact-check everything: AI can invent stats, school names, and prices. Verify with MLS, county, and school district sources.
  • No private data: never paste client names, phone numbers, emails, or transaction details into an AI tool.
  • Add a human touch: include at least one personal insight or local tip on every page. It helps readers and search rankings.
  • Avoid duplicates: check that a similar page does not already exist on the site before creating a new one.
  • Get approval: send the page link to [team lead] before adding it to any menu or sharing it publicly.

5. Quick Checklist

  • Right page type and template chosen
  • Title, anchor text, slug, and meta description filled in
  • All facts verified
  • Fair Housing language reviewed
  • Personal insight added
  • Capture form or listings added if needed
  • Previewed on mobile
  • Approved before linking or sharing
